Afraid of Losing

As Aeneas was getting ready for battle his wife Creusa asked him not to battle. She begged Aeneas to take them first. Creusa was afraid that something bad might happen to Aeneas. Being afraid to lose Aeneas she was eager to stop Aeneas from fighting. That was just the same as Iliad’ situation. They are afraid to lose their beloved making them beg for their safety.

Never Give Up

‘Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning on what will happen the day after tomorrow’. Just like in every person’s life you will first feel the pain before the gain. Every little challenge should be passed before the credits to you. Even Troy got damaged the Trojans strived hard to get into their goal. Every problem is a challenge and turns into a lesson as you do something about it.

Attack of Hidden Warriors

‘’you cannot be a hero without being a coward’. The Greeks was afraid of losing to the Trojans and that forced them to fight the Trojans from behind. The Greeks taking advantage of that situation showed cowardice of their kind. They failed to fight in even ways. As Aeneas is telling the story my heart was touched due to the number of innocent people who died because of that cowardly attack. As the Greeks showed no mercy, I thank god that Aeneas is still alive and will be able to continue his destiny to find and build new Troy.

The Smile of Mona Lisa

Mona Lisa is one of the most popular paintings around the world. Mona Lisa means Madam Lisa. Madam Lisa was known as wife of wealthy Florentine businessman FransescodelGiocondo. Experts gave their own interpretation on this work of art but for me Mona Lisa is a painting of an attractive girl. She is very serious but looks lovely. Leonardo could have admired her and it forced or gave him the idea of creating this painting.

Dennis Johnson

One day while I was playing basketball with my friends, Dennis Johnson arrived and played with us. He even asked me if I can tour him around. I showed him that it is more fun in the Philippines. We watched PBA in Moa arena and I learned a lot from his reviews on the players and plays. Being a great coach he knew every aspect of the game. While we are in moa I made him try the famous halo-halo of the Philippines. The next day he trained me and taught me of the techniques he used that gave the Boston Celtics a 4-2 score at the 1984 championship. I was very tired on my way home. I took a bath went to my bed; I remembered what he told me “love to your interest makes you stronger”. When I woke up I realized that it was just a dream and remembered the death of Mr Dennis Johnson on 2007 because of a heart attack while coaching.

Nine Angles of Mistakes

The first angle of mistakes consists of those who do not read the bible daily. They are to read the bible and have the chance to escape. The second angle (obstinate) consists of those who have a terrible naughtiness. They are to receive physical damage with every naughtiness they do. The third angle consists of those who eat too much. As they eat their weight will be doubled. The fourth angle consists of those who continue on quarreling. They are to hug each other as they quarrel. The fifth angle consists of those who accuse. They will be receiving every crime or doing they accused. The sixth angle (assault) consists of those who hurt someone intentionally. They are to receive double the damage they have done. The seventh angle consists of mockers they are to fight someone who is absolutely stronger than them. The eighth angle consists of those who do not pay debts. Their soul will be paid. The ninth and last angle consists of those who reject the word of god. They are to be frozen with what they believe.

Be Patient

A man came out of his home to admire his new truck. His son shouted that he is the master of destruction. The kid played with the truck and accidentally nailed it. The man ran to his son. He shouted that his son was a useless and careless kid. He ran to his son, knocked him away, and hammered the little boy’s hands into pulp as punishment. When the father calmed down, he screamed that he was sorry. He rushed his son to the hospital. Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to cut the fingers from the boy both hands. When the boy woke up from the surgery and saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said that he is very sorry for what he did. Then he asked when will his finger grow. The father went home. He asked what have he done. Think first before you lose your patience with someone you love. Trucks can be repaired. Broken bones and hurt feelings often can’t.
